While active in sports through sophomore year of high school, my fitness journey didn’t really begin until college. I fell in love with functional fitness and joined my first CrossFit gym in 2012. Shortly after, I began coaching and started my own nutrition coaching business as well. I’ve practiced many fitness modalities throughout the years (I love incorporating some yoga moves into our warm ups) but CrossFit is what I always come back to. Having coached at several gyms since 2015, Octane was a perfect place to land. The community is welcoming and organic and the programming is approachable but challenging. As coaches at Octane we’re provided with ample opportunity for growth and put those new skills to work with our classes.
